Sellers for the service counter/Kota Bistro

We are looking for workers for the newly renovated service counter at Jouni Kauppa and Kota Bistro. We offer work at least for the summer but possibly for a longer period, even permanent employment. The service counter consists of a fish and meat counter with an emphasis on fresh fish and various fish products. The counter offers a daily selection of hot dishes to take away or eat on the spot. In addition, take-away snacks such as bagels, pizza slices and baguettes are prepared. As a novelty, breakfast is served from 8-10.45am. Lunch is served from 11am to 2pm and the Kota Bistro menu is available from 11am to 7pm. The menu currently includes burgers and kebabs with a twist of Lapland and world flavours.

At the counter, and in Jouni's Shop anyway, the most important thing for us is attitude. We value hard work and responsibility, and we want to teach and get new good people to join our work community. We require a hygiene passport and experience with food or a passion for it, formal training in the field is not necessary but would be considered an advantage. Not all employees will prepare made to order meals, but all will make hot lunches and snacks and sell fish and meat counter products. We will provide an induction.

Hours of work vary between 30 and 37.5h/week, but occasional shift workers are also needed.
