On May 1, 2023, Jounin Kauppa was taken over by new merchants. The new owners always want to do something unique, and in October-November, arrangements and reforms are made in many departments. The brewery department will be renewed, the order of the consumables department will be clarified and the selection will be filed, as well as smaller reorganizations will be made in the grocery departments. The biggest upheaval will be experienced by the service counter, which will be demolished and completely rebuilt: the result is an even better lunch, fish and meat counter and a 25-seat bistro, where you can sit down to eat food from the counter or order dishes from the counter.
