K-Market Jounin Kauppa is the largest K-Market in Finland and it is located near Yllästunturi. Our wide range of products, from food to consumer goods, serves both locals and a large number of holidaymakers. Satisfied customers and an experiential shopping experience are our passion and we are constantly developing the store. One of our specialities is the large fluctuations in sales as the seasons change and managing these is part of our skill set. Jouni's Shop is part of the complete Lapland holiday experience.
In the store, we work in a team model, but collaborate across departmental boundaries, taking into account the whole store. The store has four teams: a checkout team, a fresh team (hay, bread, milk-cheese-fat and processed meat-prepared food), an industrial team (brewing, frozen, industrial, consumables) and a service counter team.
We are looking for a salesperson whose main duties are in the fresh produce departments as part of the fresh produce team. The job will involve ordering responsibility and other departmental duties such as running promotions and maintaining the range. All team members will be involved in unloading in the various departments, as well as other shop work at the checkout and other departments as required. In the low season (May to November), the tasks may vary more, while in the high season (December to May Day) the tasks are mostly in the fresh produce team.
You will be an important part of our work community and the store as a whole, you will enjoy the pulse and the fast pace!
The position is permanent and full-time (37.5 h/wk). Salaries will be in line with the trade's TES and may include a responsibility bonus based on experience and job responsibility.
